The Master’s Degree in Information Systems Management (MSI) from the IAE Nancy in partnership with IDMC (Institute of Digital Sciences, Management and Cognition) offers a typical course “Consulting in organisation and information systems” (COSI) oriented towards mastering the practice of consulting in organisation and information systems.
It trains managers capable of supporting the digital transformations of organisations at the interface of IT and information systems departments and business departments
The Consulting course in organisation and information systems receives students who have completed a 1st year of Master’s degree in maths / computer science or in one of the management specialities represented at UL, with a sensitivity for computer science and information systems.
The first semester of the 2nd year of Master’s degree includes courses that focus on process and project management, information technology management, and understanding the principles and implementation of decision-making technologies.
The second semester plans for courses oriented towards business management issues, especially in globalized contexts. These courses are mostly taught in English. The issues of management in an intercultural context, the legal and human context of the action of organisations are thus addressed.
The possible outlets: Functional project manager (Marketing, Finance, HR, Logistics, etc.) on IS deployment projects, Cross-functional process managers, Organisational consultant, Decision-making consultant, Big Data, Digital Strategy, etc.
